Start point : Meet at Metano garage San Sepolcro 9.00 (Exit E 45 at S.Sepolcro then turn left at roundabout towards Anghiari. Find Metano Garage on right just after you go under Super strada)
Bring bathing costume and towel if you want a splash (No changing rooms),and a mosquito repellent. Bring picnic or else eat at resturant in S.Sepolcro. Baby parking is possible. (0575 742728)

General description
Gradually ascend to get a beautiful view of the "Water meadows and surrounding country side before descending and following the sparkling stream on a single file track back towards San Sepolcro. An easy ride with only one short period of gradual ascent.
Trail Breakdown
Garage to lake hut 3 km 15 mins flat dirt track Lake hut to S. Martino turn 4 km (30 mins) mainly up hill (but gradual) tarmac. Shade and great views and very little traffic. Off road descent to dam (15 mins) Dam to lake hut. 1 hour beautiful dirt track. Hut to resturant in San Sepolcro (30 mins) leaving picnicers behind.
