View from ridge on our Santa Maria trail

Example Trail

We don't have space to give photographic descriptions of all of our rides here but below is a typical example of the sort of trail you would be doing with us. Please bear in mind also that all the other photos on this site have been taken from actual trails that we will be doing.

From hilltop village to river valley

The trail starts high up in the medieval village of Santa Maria in Tiberina (687m) perched on top of the Umbrian hills overlooking the Tiber valley
You'll have some time to explore the ancient village and perhaps enjoy a cappuccino from one of the village's picturesque bars......
........before commencing the descent by dirt track onto the ridge below

As we cycle along the ridge we have stunning views in every direction, with the tortured crags of La Verna (Tuscany) to the north, Monte Acuto (Umbria) to the south and the spectacular mountains of Le Marche straight ahead to the east. (See also the photo at the top of this page)
