At Cycle middle Italy we are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of the cycling holidays and trails that we organize - without compromising any aspect of your enjoyment.

Getting over here without leaving too large a carbon footprint is always a challenge but trains do run from London to Arezzo. Otherwise you can fly with Ryan air to Perugia airport (At least these short-hop flights are always packed full of people as well as being very cheap).

Once over here however you'll be able to enjoy a really environmentally friendly holiday. Our aim is to give you maximum mobility and independence without the necessity of hiring a car. All your transportation to and from trails will be done using a comfortable and spacious methane powered car.

Accommodation has been chosen to provide the highest level of comfort and cuisine in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Central or middle Italy is blessed with a plethora of Agriturismos - small countryside inns or converted farmhouses given special status due to the fact that much of the food and wine they serve is grown and prepared on their own premises. Most of the other stuff you eat and drink will be locally sourced and it won't be just the environment that's rewarded - you'll get to taste some of the finest homemade cuisine made from the freshest local ingredients you'll find anywhere in the world!

By keeping our cycling groups very small (Max 6 people) we are able to take you to some of the most beautiful and undiscovered areas of natural beauty without jeopardizing their "unspoilt" status. Take a look at our example trail to see what I mean!
