DAGDA - TRADITIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY IRISH MUSIC
Dagda started up in 1998 with the idea of revisiting traditional Celtic music with new new ideas. The band was looking for different combinations of instruments, special arrangements and original songs whilst maintaing the spirit of the traditional music. The result is a unique and captivating sound reflecting the traditional moods and humour of the Emerald Isle whilst adding a more contemporary dimention. The group has taken part in all the major Celtic Irish festivals in Italy, Switzerland and Slovenia and over the last 10 years supported amongst others Bob Geldof, Amazing Blondel, The Modena City Ramblers and The Chieftains.
